Manfredo nearly died that night from all the punishment he took.

His family still call the ref Terry "Lifesaver" O'Connor.

AJ Takam, was not the worst stoppage in history but it was absolutely terrible because Joshua missed every punch and takam was coming on strong after AJ was gassed...
Ok Don King Jr. That had nothing to do with protecting Chavez's winning record. Steele knew exactly what to do in that situation.

yeah im dong king jnr for pointing out the rules to you.

Steele stopped it because it was a conspiracy not because taylor did not respond to the referees instructions after a heavy KD.

            crack head

              Ok, you're an idiot.

I know what the rules are and I'm assuming so did Lou Duva. Also, the national media who all thought the decision to stop the fight was a bad call and a black eye on the sport. Taylor was up and alert. So what he didn't respond to Steele. Maybe he was looking over at his corner who was shouting sh_t at him.

I would call you a crack head but you're probably more of an inbread meth addict hanging out in gas station bathrooms scoring your next fix.

                You clearly do not

I'll explain as you seem very dim.
After a heavy KD, the referee will ask a question to the fighter to gauge how hurt they are, if they do not respond, the referee will call it off, sometimes they even call it off if they do respond, if they have a glassy eyed look etc
Taylor was both glassy eyed and did not respond.

                your logic =

                but but
                ' the time doe'
                'conspiracy by dong king doe'
                ' newspapers doe'
'so what if the boxer didnt respond after a heavy KD richard steele should of checked how much time was left and looked at the scorecards doe'

                LMAO @ 'inbread'

If the stakes are high (like two World HW titles), the referee should only stop a fight it one guy is unable to defend himself by returning fire.

Takam had already taken Joshua's best shots and was still in the fight, he could of gone 12 rounds, no doubt in my mind.

But no, Joshua needs that KO record...so **** on a guy who took the biggest fight of his career at 4 weeks notice just to keep a hype/money train rolling.

                  Disgusting and a disgrace IMO.

Both Joshua’s latest stoppages were BS. Klitschko was dropped, but he was back up and defending himself, Joshua was missing his shots and gassing out at the same time. And another joke stoppage against Takam. His KO streak has an asterix to my eyes. Povetkin dropped Takam clean on his back in the 10th, that was a true KO, where is that hyped up Joshua power?
