I don't understand why you guys are criticizing AJ's performance?
I thought he did extremely well despite of no knockout / referee stoppage.
Because Joshua was easy to hit, his right hand wasn't thrown straight sand it looked amateurish, his foot work is trash, his mobility is trash stiff ass, his power is average, and his jab was non existent. And Takam took the fight on 12 days notice at 36 years of age and showed us that Joshua's power is truly overrated. And this is after the ref stopped the fight with his bull**** stoppage. AJ is looking like lunch meat and soon will be dead meat if he ever finds the balls to face Wilder.
We really don't have enough answers about Joshua OR Parker at this point, now do we? But with what I've seen of both fighters up til now, IMO unless Parker is lucky enough to rock Joshua early, he's a sitting duck for Joshua's power. Like others have said, he couldn't figure out Hughie or Ruiz... so what makes him so favored in what would basically be a shoot out? Can't blame Parker for daring to be great, gotta hand it to him. That plus he's marketing himself for a big payday or two. But can he complete with a talented big HW like Joshua? I know a bunch of fans would like to find out, me included.
He said he really tough and he would knock him out in twelve rounds and regardless of the early stoppage"that's what he looked to be doing even with a broken nose which is worse than a cold I suspect. If you think that's arrogant meet Deontay Wilder or pretty much every other boxer.
He never said he was tough in the video that I posted I was just trying to point out how he thought Takam was a walk in the park
Even saying if he had a cold he would still beat him when clearly that isen't the case.
Broken nose or not doesn't matter and doesn't apply to what I'm saying.
Plus this is boxing your getting punched in the face **** happens lol
Did he also have a broken nose when he gassed aga gains klitchko?
And spat the dummy aka his mouth guard to get a breather lol.
The thing is he could've fought similar guys while building up to a AJ fight, because that's all he's really after anyway. Parker had big problems with Takam, Joshua didn't loom electric but basically shut him out. Agree with you about the stoppage. Joshua has obviously been fighting a level above Joe, even Whyte is better than Takam, though not as durable. Pulev I would venture is better than Hughie, Wlad certainly better than Ruiz. Parker doesn't look like he's improving much to me.
What are you even talking about lol Whyte better than Takam? Hahaha
That's a good joke, if Aj is the measuring stick for how good a fighter is than Takam is certainly better than Whyte hands down I didn't see Whyte go that late into the fight against Aj did you?
Stop trying prop Whyte up he ain't beat no one yet, and haven't fought anyone Takam has been in the ring with some big hitters and has also shown the durability to take the bigger punches.
Can't say the same for whyte.
Well we won't know will we if Aj is the measuring stick since Pulev pulled out lol
Of course Vlad is better wasn't top of the food chain for nothing.
That's true he is not improving as fast as he could be but he's only 25.
Still a young buck by any stretch and has a belt already how old is Aj?
Lol There's plenty interviews where Parker's team decided to bypas the IBF Mandatory and go the vacant WBO route soo it would be a unified fight with Joshua in the future Joshua never avoided that stiff Parker
Well he took his time getting the fight done, parkers team were trying to get that mando.
Belt became available, you telling me that you wouldn't have gone for a title fight that was a certainty.
Or would you have waited for a maybe fight?
Because the other team thought it was better to fight the Molinas and breazeale of the world.
If they legit wanted the fight it would have happened he would have fight in the molina fight but they didn't want that.
Either they gonna fight sooner now rather than later which will be great for fans and for boxing.
