AJ prob would have scored a KD in that sequence if it had not been stopped

The reason why the stoppage was premature is because you need to consider the context and the momentum.

Takam is a durable fighter whose strategy for the fight was to take it to the later rounds and try to land something. He was investing in body shots and Joshua looked tired. Takam was clearly losing the 10th round that's why he tried to make Joshua punch himself out rather than trying to fight back on his own. I'm pretty sure that he would come out swinging and going all in in the last two rounds. Now I'm not saying he would win but he would definitely fight and try to make it exciting.

The other thing you have to consider is that Joshua was tired and his punches weren't as powerful anymore.

Takam wasn't particularly hurt and him not throwing punches back wasn't because he wasn't able to fight anymore but because he was saving himself for the next round.

Also, it was the biggest fight of his life at the final stage of his career. He should have been given a chance to go for broke in the last 2 rounds.

Takham was in a bad way couldnt see ref spared him taken more power shots but was stopped too early the warrior should of been allowed to see the bell and groves stoppage was way worse groves was clearly winning the fight and had froch much more hurt when groves put him down just froch trying to justifie his dodgey win

As much as I like Froch as a fighter, he is just saying that because of the easy stoppage he got vs Groves.

Awful. In the final barrage, nothing AJ threw landed. The fight should have gone on.
