Comments Thread For: Warren: Shocked Sky Asked if Joshua is Best UK Heavyweight Ever

ANTHONY JOSHUA is brilliant for boxing but needs a decade of dominance before he can be called Britain's best-ever heavyweight. The London 2012 Olympic gold medallist has a long way to go to catch up the likes of Lennox Lewis. Joshua has become a big star, he is a big ticket seller, and he is great for boxing.

we all know Joshua is far from a finished article..so what's with the comparison when he's still entering his peak years.. compare when he's done with boxing.. but right now makes you look foolish should he exceed his predecessors later on in achievements especially in u.k history

So according to Frank, Tim Witherspoon, Bonecrusher Smith and Frank Bruno would have beaten the Klitscko that lost to AJ? Those guys wouldnt last 6 rounds with Klitscko, IDC how old he was.
He also called Anthony Yard the new Nigel Benn when they have nothing in common apart from being both black and british.

      Frank Warren you DKSAB

When Joshua retires, he will have Klitschko, Wilder, Parker and probably Tyson Fury on his resume. he wil be HOF.

You're essentially agreeing with warren in that it's a ****** comparison to try and make at this stage of his career.
The ******ation lies in the question of wether a fledgling Joshua is the best uk heavy ever and not in warrens response.

It's still too early!! Let's wait two or three more years before this comes up. He beat a 40 year old Klitschko ( coming off a long layoff and a loss), Dillian Whyte, Charles Martin and Dominic Brezeale that doesn't make you the best UK heavy weight EVER!! He's only 19 fights in give it time.

Did you even watch the video or read the article?

Warren was asked about Joshua and this is in response to a poll that Sky Sports done that said AJ is the greatest ever U.K heavyweight, which they quickly took down due to ridicule.

Outed yourself as someone that responds and believe headlines without getting the context......MORON!
