What a tard. I was rooting for him super hard. Dumb guy....
Brant should have just waited for the N'Dam-Murata winner

Hindsight being 20/20 sure, but I believe he made a million dollar, career high, purse & likely much more (2x, 3x maybe) than he'd gotten for fighting Murata so there's that angle to & he woulda gotten another mill if he'd have won the fight. And ultimately this is a business & about providing for you & yours & not a legacy thing or a keep your 0 as long as possible thing like boxing fans sometimes think it is.
I think he made the right move with the info he had at the time. Plus lets be real he's a 160lb guy who jumped up 8lbs which ultimately is a no lose situation for him one can argue. He can go back down to 160, get back in line & try to make his mark in his correct division now. -

I'm a MN native and have an emotional investment in Brant lol. I was super excited for him to fight the winner of the first N'Dam/Ryoto fight. When that ended like it did and the rematch was ordered I thought Brant would just take another stay busy fight and wait. I was a bit surprised that he decided to move up a division for the WBSS, but felt decently confident he could at least beat an old Braehmer. He clearly lost but definitely busted up Braehmer's face pretty good.Comment
