Litigation is a weapon that can be used regardless of whether anybody broke the law to achieve objections beyond exposing the breaking of laws.

For instance, Golden Boy knew Haymon hadn't broken the law when his fighters bought themselves out of their contracts using legal buy out clauses that had been negotiated.

Did it stop GBP from suing Haymon? No, of course not. Because you can use litigation to threaten people, you can use litigation to drain resources, you can use litigation to slow down legal activity that harms your business, you can use litigation to embarrass people, you can use litigation to gain knowledge of trade secrets, etc etc.

GBP & TR both filed frivolous lawsuits against Haymon and both failed to accomplish anything other than getting on ESPN a year sooner. But that's still something. So they gained something from frivolous litigation, as corporations do all the time, every day.

To suggest that law abiding citizens don't have to fear subpoenas shows once again that you have extremely limited knowledge of how business works at the highest levels.

Reputable business people who conduct business above board would not deny themselves the greatest technical achievement (computers) possibly of all time, simply out of a fear of litigation. And the fact that you can actually try and find a reason to defend it says quite a bit about your business ethics, or lack thereof.

Here's a tip: If you do business above board, treat people fairly, and dont break the law, you dont need to hide in anonymity, avoid media, or avoid written communications. I post under my own name, I use email, I have had the same cell number for 25 years, and I can walk into any boxing event in the world without worrying about bumping into someone I may have screwed over. I would say I know quite a bit about the ethical way to do business.

And why the name change AGAIN? Got tired of Original Zero?

So what you're saying is that if people operate the way you operate, they can be successful like you were.

Except, you weren't successful. You lost your ass. So why would anybody copy your methods? Haymon made hundreds of millions before he ever set foot in boxing. Why would he change his methods?

Original Zero is one of three that teamed up to operate this account.
