The fact is Crawford has never faced a ring bully. Gamboa was the closest, and remains one of only two guys to ever wobble Crawford even briefly. The other one, Hank Lundy, was probably affected emotionally, but early on he was giving Crawford that work and isn't nearly as durable as The Hornet.

My call: Hornet lasts through 9 before getting stopped, while landing some good shots along the way.

And Crawford CANNOT allow The Hornet to go the distance, or he will lose a close decision or worse, a draw. He needs to do what Manny failed to do and get The Hornet out of there before the 12th and ideally before the 10th.

If even Terence Crawford struggles with Jeff "The Hornet" Horn and fails to get him out of there despite every effort, all of you people here on NSB need to recognize Horn's place as the #1 Welterweight in the World.
Is this sarcasm, because while beating Crawford would be be a huge shake-up, it would be far from determining the best WW in the world

Exactly!!! As soon as Horn got that BS decision against Pacman, I knew it was a Top Rank move to have Crawford get a title shot without going through a PBC fighter.

Why not Spence Jr., Porter, or Danny Garcia hell Keith Thurman. Guys who are actually active in the division.

How the hell does a guy who has never fought at 147 become the mandatory for a title shot. Boxing is so corrupt its not even funny.

        My thoughts exactly!!!!

A guy who has never fought at WW magically becomes the mandatory to a title shot?!

100% true, arum wanted pacquiao to hand it to Crawford, but PAC didn't like the risk/reward but in comes Jeff horn and then the bad decision. Now Crawford takes the belt from horn and arum just gained leverage in a haymon run division

I have never seen the WW division this stacked since the Hagler/ Sugar Ray Leonard's era. Good for boxing!Crawford will have to face Thurman/Spence after he beat Horn.

No matter who fights Horn, if the fight is in Australia and Horn doesn’t get KO’d, he wins each and every time. But Crawford should have no problems picking apart the telegraphing teacher.

Finally a guaranteed flattening of Horn: THE biggest mouth in all of pro boxing EVER.

And then we can hope for a Crawford/Thurman matchup... which IMO will be an explosive fight as long as it lasts. A true gift from the Gods for true boxing fans.

Postol wasn't a bully, he was tentative. Do you not remember that round where he basically stared at Crawford for like 10 seconds when Crawford was asking him to throw?
