I understand Crawford hasn't done anything at ww to deserve a title shot before throwing a single punch at this class. But also what resume did Jeff have to earn a shot at fighting Pacquiao??? At least Crawford was undisputed at the lower weight class. This was gonna happen anyway Bob Arum is gonna keep recycling that belt and the day Crawford loses a step he will be thrown to the next young lion. That's the never ending cycle of boxing lol

Well Jeff Horn, I hope you had a fun ride as the champ because after this pathetic 1st defence you have coming up, an ESPN beatdown awaits from Bud. Hopefully you get well-paid on the way out as you go back to teaching.

YOOOOO WTF they keep playing games with Crawford's age. I swore he was 30 but like a month or 2 ago they said he was 29 I check Wiki he's 29 and now all of a sudden he's 30 again. WTF????? His bday was may and now it's sept.

They need to get it together. If he's 30 he's 30. As far as I know he turned 30 years old in May

The fact is Crawford has never faced a ring bully. Gamboa was the closest, and remains one of only two guys to ever wobble Crawford even briefly. The other one, Hank Lundy, was probably affected emotionally, but early on he was giving Crawford that work and isn't nearly as durable as The Hornet.

My call: Hornet lasts through 9 before getting stopped, while landing some good shots along the way.

And Crawford CANNOT allow The Hornet to go the distance, or he will lose a close decision or worse, a draw. He needs to do what Manny failed to do and get The Hornet out of there before the 12th and ideally before the 10th.

If even Terence Crawford struggles with Jeff "The Hornet" Horn and fails to get him out of there despite every effort, all of you people here on NSB need to recognize Horn's place as the #1 Welterweight in the World.
Postol was closest to being a ring bully when he was built up prior to Crawford. Crawford sho made work of him though.

I don’t think so. He thinks he can win, which I totally respect. WILL he win? Doubt it, but I don’t see him ducking anyone at 147. This is his one big chance at securing a nice little nest egg for him and his family.

Thats actually the pbc formula, when top rank fighters try to duck arum just shelves them and that's how it should be. Mikey got shelved for ducking gamboa, chavez jr for ducking ggg, nicholas walters for ducking loma originally, so on and so forth. People have to leave top rank if they don't want the tough fights weve seen it time and again.
