so nobody wanted to fight GGG from 2010-2014, yet Abel and GGG claimed 154-168 was easy... which champions were at 168 in from 2010-2014? because it was easy innit? the weight?

When you are at the top & bring $ then you are a target. When you get hype then duck certain fighters & you don't produce the same at top level competition everyone wants you to make a name for themselves. Lions Only!

Well to be fair, GGG fought Rubio leftovers in Lemieux. Or Alcine leftovers.

The point is, look at the new breed all wanting GGG but Martinez, Geale, Sturm, all those before didnt want it... In fact Jacobs didnt want GGG nor did GGG eant Jacobs, all recorded on video in 2016 up until the WBA ordered them to fight both parties changed their tune. Notice how money was the issue that it got pushed into 2017. So does K2 and Abel or GGG have any blame with money negotiating problems where other fighters who were supposed to fight or want GGG were the ones to blame because of money?

Seeing how Abel is an egotistical coach in industry with beyond inconsistent verbage about Ggg can do... dont you think it was Ggg's handlers and the Kazakh himself that messed up many fights to be made because of money? for all we know Loeffler and Abel sabotaged fights with the narratives about Garden or Forum seats..as if those gates detail the overall purses for negotiations. Or do we blame Haymon for not contacting Loeffler to setup Lara? We know Abel said Lara didn't sells seats.... even though Lara did 300k PPV with Alvarez before Lil'G ever had PPV...

Well youre preaching to the converted as regards to Abel, but then I'm a Tyson fan so anyone telling me he wasnt a dominant champion in he's first reign isn't worth talking about. But as for Golovkin, we've had Jacobs and Canelo, we should have Charlo as he's number 1 contender. Golovkin has limited time so who would we rather see? I'd rather see Canelo rematch, Charlo, maybe Saunders of he looks good against Lemieux, which I think he will. Of course a young gun gets you one day if you stick around. Id rather he finished at middle than fight Degale or Groves. Canelo is the cash cow, but I don't want to see three of those, it wasn't the greatest fight. Canelo, Saunders, Charlo. Maybe Jacobs again, but I'd put him last, I didnt think it was a great fight either.

I want to see that too. Let's see Charlo in a tough fight, he's got the look, has he got the heart?

I'm pretty sure this is the roadmap that GBP has dictated for Alvarez 2018 (including BJS and Lemieux.)

Seeing how Warren wants a piece of the pie that Hearn, the WBSS, or GBP are achieving, he's willing, submittedi (as BJS has acknowledged too) to fight in North America ala Canada. As Warren did with Smith in Texas, I'm sure he was able to convince BJS that the money would be right, worth the risk, working with GBP because:

Fight Lemieux in Canada (tickets are better than in the UK, since David is the bigger draw), win that, then BJS gets to make his biggest payday with Alvarez. Given the circumstances that Nelo went 12 with Golovkin, this has excited both Warren and BJS, so the gap to that is to fight Lemieux.

Then with GBP, this is the ticket for Alvarez to face either Lemieux of BJS for the WBO. The GBP team are hella smart.

Furthermore, if Alvarez wins the WBA and IBF from Golovkin in the rematch, then Nelo can unify with winner of Lemieux and BJS. If GBP can do that in 2018, all that leaves is the WBC for undisputed, assuming GBP will acknowledge that.

Expect to see Lara go to 160 soon as well. The real Lion's Den resides in Andrade, Jacobs, Nelo, Lara, Murata, Charlo, and GGG.

the 160 division in 2018 will be the deepest and the best
