It isn't Deontay is delusional. But that is the rationale, the fight is big already, we're heavyweights. It doesn't need to be built. So ok Deontay, Eddie and AJ think you're wrong and the fight needs building. So why not put your money where your mouth is? Or are you just all talk?

      Ah, I get you.

I do genuinely think Deontay is poorly promoted and it's got to the point now that even as an American WBC title holder he is talking all this stuff and pulling these figures out of his arse.

He shouldn't be in this position . He should be billed as an American heavyweight KO machine and 'real' heavyweight champion of the world. I'm not saying that would be true as AJ has more of a claim to being heavyweight champion of the world. But if there was an American Eddie Hearn over there or just a decent promoter Wilder wouldn't have try and promote himself like this.

As a boxing fan I do want the fight to happen. But it looks messy.

Ultimately though. Until an offer is made either way I suppose we can't say all that much but where would be the fun in that? This thing is gonna spark a year plus worth of talking on these boards!

Wilder himself at the minute to me looks like he's talking completely out of his arse but in a years time and retrospect who knows?

When the fight is made maybe he manages to get a deal that he probably isn't worth in terms of what he brings to the table at that point in time. That old saying about getting paid not what you're worth but what you can negotiate comes to mind.

But yeah, that offer to AJ ain't getting made I wouldn't think unless someone wants to bankrupt themselves.

        15k less...

It's not just about Stadium capacity, it's about location, and this fight HAS to be in London. London is the richest city in the U.K and the gate will be at least 2x more than a fight in Cardiff for a unification like this. Hearn has actually been selling ringside tickets for cheap but these would be gold dust. You're asking rich people and fans to travel to Wales, and there is already fans trying to sell tickets as they can't find hotels for Pulev/Takam. Cardiff can't support a fight of this magnitude, it can't support it for Pulev/Takam.

So the worlds media and fans are going to go to Cardiff in April instead of waiting 2 months, building the fight and taking it to a City that will make LOTS more money and when the weather will be better?

Could you imagine the travel chaos in Cardiff if we have a late Winter? and can you imagine fans, media and all that travelling in from the U.S and can't get a hotel? and then they have to go out in Cardiff city after the fight? Personally I wouldn't wish that on them......London is the city. It's like putting on a show in the U.S in Alabama instead of Las Vegas lol

You may be from the U.K, but you're obviously not very bright.

Your a delusional idiot who has zero understanding of the global boxing industry. The Klitschko's had stadium fights all across Europe, I attended 2 of them and there was never any travel problems. Of course the world media would travel to Cardiff you delinquent, there's been HW title fights in Zaire, Carnival city SA etc and the world media and fans attended them. And people are only selling tickets cheap because the card is ****.
Learn your history, learn the business and stop drinking the Eddie Hearn cool aid. Gullible people like YOU are the reason Hearn gets away with this ****.

The fights you mentioned were often bankrolled by dictators and governments, and the Klitschko's did fight in stadiums, a few times in Germany in bigger city's than Cardiff, and in Russia, which was bankrolled by a millionaire.

Like I said, Cardiff is not big enough and the location is not good enough for a fight of this magnitude.

It's not even an idea, no rational would suggest a fight like this ASAP in Cardiff over building the Wilder fight and holding it in London in the Summer. You're talking tens of millions more if Wilder fights Whyte and then Joshua. It's a $50 million fight or a $100 million fight.

Moron. You'd be laughed out of any business meetings with these ****** suggestions. You seriously come across slightly ******ed thinking Cardiff in April is a good idea over AJ fighting abroad, Whyte fighting Wilder, and then Joshua/Wilder fighting in the richest City in the U.K.

Do you really want American fans coming over and struggling for hotels, in **** weather and having to go out in Cardiff after? **** you if you think that's a god idea for the fans.

Where do you get these crazy figures from????? How can an imbecile like you attempt to make precise predictions on how much money this fight generates????

HAHAHAHAHAHA are you seriously asking me how I can roughly predict the value of fights? And you have the gawl to call me an imbecile? after every one of your moronic replies to me as well.

                  1. I know the gross of Joshua/Klitschko
                  2. I know the price of Sky PPV has increased 15% for AJ
                  3. I know Joshua has become more valuable and well-known since WK.
                  4. Ticket revenues will also increase for this fight (HEarn has capped ringside at £2000, that will go up)
                  5. Hearn has stated with his promotion idea of Joshua fighting in America next year/ Wilder fighting in the U.K it will increase the revenue.

If what I think will happen... A.K.A Joshua fights in U.S march, Wilder fights in U.K and they get it on in the Summer. THIS IS HUGE!

BTW AJ WK grossed over £50 million/$65 million.

You think I'm an imbecile because I think this fight could make $100 £76 million with the right promotion and it being in London? Are you ******?

Hearn said that Stephen Espinoza is in England and he will contact Wilder’s team and send them a better offer to fight Whyte but it won’t be for the ridiculous 7 million that Wilder has asked for.

Even you Wilder fangirls cannot deny that if Wilder doesn’t take the Whyte fight then there are serious questions that need to be answered.. If he fights Whtye then he will be earning 14million more in total!!! Who in their right minds wouldn’t take that offer??. That’s probably twice as much money as he's made in his whole career combined!
You don't understand why Wilder said 7 mil. It's because you're an article reader and you're not really guy "in the know" of the sport. You just know how to **** gobble Joshua, lmao.
