However, HBO nor Showtime make money on ratings. Ratings matter more when networks are selling commercial time during their shows. HBO and Showtime don't do that, they rely on subscriptions.

if it didnt break global, dana white would have found something it broke, it broke the record for most ppv orders between 7pm-9pm prime hours.
Didn't Golden Boy put out a statement that the 1.3 million buys for Canelo/GGG didn't include international buys, ****** streaming buys and so on? Obviously they started counting all that to dispute that their fight didn't sell like Oscar was thinking.

I don't get why people are doubting Dana. This fight had global appeal. Dana is full of **** but no one can deny McGoober is an international superstar.

It was the biggest fight in combat history. Globally was a bigger fight than the Pacquiao fight. McGregor is huge in Ireland, the UK and Australia.

McGregor is a bigger star than Floyd too - Floyd is hardly even known in the UK. McGregor is a star, and McGregor is almost just as big of a star in the U.S.

I doubt that. Maybe before Hatton, yeah. But not now.
