    What's Up With Jessie Vargas?

It's been a year since he lost his strap to Pacquiao. Feels like a liftime since I've seen him in the ring (maybe because I didn't watch the Pacquiao fight). What's up with this dude? Why didn't he get the Cotto fight over Ali?

I realize he got paid and ****, but damn I hate to see guys taking massive time off in their prime.

I heard a rumour he'd signed with Haymon, has it been made official? Thurman vs Vargas is a solid fight tbf

It's the get rich quick syndrome from fighting Pac or Mayweather. Maidana realized he could live like a king from the Mayweather fight and Bradley realized he could retire early from the Pac fights. Anyone who fights either of them and is frugal, loses the desire to fight again it seems....at least for a few fighters it seems. Even Horn is talking about a bad back and retiring. Hell, now that I think of it, Guerrero did the same thing and disappeared for over a year after the Mayweather fight.

This is a good move I reckon, much more options for him at 147 now

                    Wow!

Kind of a bold move to sign with Haymon during his..... 'rebuilding'

Wonder if he'll end up fighting Spence.

Come to think of it... that means he could fight Brandon Rios, Victor Ortiz, etc. Very interesting stuff.
