None other than Memo Heredia just tweeted this which is why I think Suliaman is wrong: "Zilpaterol & clenbuterol effective for weight increase in horses & cattle but both highly effective weight loss & performance PED for boxers". While it may be some innocent ingestion of tainted meat, it is what Nery said to the Japanese press before the weigh-in that made me su****ious even before the TKO. As reported on asianboxing.info at the weigh-in Nery "stated that he will put on around 18lbs between this morning's weigh in and fight time, essentially making him a Lightweight in the ring. From what we understand that sort of a weight increase is normal from Nery but does seem a huge amount for a fighter who has mentioned moving down to Super Flyweight in recent days." Now I heard of guys like Chavez Jr. re-hydrating that amount before a fight but a Bantamweight? That's like 15% of his body weight that he puts on overnight. I think he may have used Zilpaterol to cut weight rather than gain the muscle that Suliaman assumes. If what Nery himself said is true, well there's the smoking gun.

There you have it - I said the same thing about a week ago and I'm no Memo Heredia but I do my research, whats Sulimans excuse?

Sulaiman supports Nery's innocence based on two things.
              a) Nery is a clean young man
              b) Nery fights to make weight and this type of substance is used to gain weight - so it's illogical

              Here are Memo Heredia's tweets,
"Use of Zilpaterol is effective aid for increasing body weight "IN CATTLE ONLY" same as clenbuterol."
"Zilpaterol & clenbuterol effective for weight increase in horses & cattle but both highly effective weight loss & performance PED for boxers"

This leaves us to believe that Luis Nery is innocent because he is a "clean young man".
I guess clean young man (Mexican fighter signed to Zanfer Promotions) would never use such illegal substances.

                Science

The amount of PED he had in his body was equivalent to a whole cow. Nothing else to say.
