                I'd loved to have seen Zurdo enter WBSS but the fact that the WBSS failed to secure an adequate U.S tv deal, left the door open for top U.S based fighters not to join. I don't believe Zurdo ducked the WBSS, I just think the team around him felt he wouldn't get enough exposure in a tournament that has little presence in the USA.
                $20 million in three fights is crazy, that's what WBSS is offering and that's before any TV deals were announced. Compared to what he's got lined up seems like a ****** move from his team.

                Only time will tell because he can still put together a good resume before the end of 2018.

                    Agreed, what he does in 2018 will define whether he's made the right decision.
