Nope. Everything he said is true. You can learn what not to do outside of the ring by looking at those guys. Boxers have no pensions so they need to be more frugal with their spending.

Some of you get so amped whenever Joshuas mentioned, its as if Wilder is your Lord. When they fight, we don’t get anything from it just relax - its boxing.

AJ is going to make money, no question about that, but can he maintain it, will he make the right investments, that's a question only time will answer.

        But.

His quotes in this article were disrespectful, he didn't have to call out their names, every boxers journey is different, Tyson had Don King, Bowe had Rock Newman, Holyfield had a bunch of kids out of wedlock and a massive house. Its funny though right....AJ is openly ducking the biggest threat to him while talking dirty about the real deal, not sure if Holyfield did much of ducking of anyone during his career.

If AJ had the balls Holyfield did, we would be getting DW/AJ in the first quarter of 2018.

If AJ wants to be sure that he gets all his money and takes care of it, dump Hearn when the contract expires, create your own promotional outfit, and crack on.

Otherwise, his financial structure is no different then the men he just dissed

It so sad that past champions became broke.. But I believe it's the snakes around them and thier promoters that robbed then and aided in then becoming broke. Holyfield is one of the greatest Heavyweights ever.. Mike Tyson was the most popular athlete at the time and larger than life... But these days they beg current fighters for help financially.

These guys did millions of PPV and put thier life in danger for us but they got nothing in return. AJ looks like he has his head screwed on.. The people around him seem to care about him so hopefully he can keep his riches and keep building himself and his wealth.

No one got a more raw deal than Joe Louis. Served his country and then hounded by the IRS. Couldn't even cover his funeral costs till Max Schmeling picked up the bill.

I think he would definitely become his own promoter soon, its one of the things he spoke to my brother about.

Then you have to wonder why that continues to happen to boxers. Keep your house in order, the government would not bail you out or let you off IMHO.
