Good fight. Hopefully it gets finalized. Looks like Frank Warren and Golden Boy Promotions are doing very good business.

First Billy Jo Saunders vs David Lemeiux then a possible Linares vs Flanagan unification bout.

Very good work by both companies. It's good to see these guys make meaningful fights that us fans want to see.

Was hoping for Linares vs. Mikey but hope this kinda starts an unofficial tourney where Mikey fights Easter and winner gets Linares after he takes Flanagan's belt.

This is a good example of how having a promoter benefits most fighters. Mikey has been saying he'll fight a lot of fighters but hes mostly been calling out flanagan and linares because he knows he can beat them and now hes left in the dust and will most likely have to wait until next year to fight.

Mikey Garcia will fight Easter Jr, and good next fight will still be against Linares/Flanagan because there's no other fight for those guys.

Linares isn't always on the road to the UK over some love of the UK fans (he literally has near no interest backing him in the US), and Flanagan can't hide in the UK forever either (BoxNation still have yet to really establish BT Box Office, and Flanagan is going to want to be paid well at some point).

Same here man, I have a feeling networks/promoters will get in the way as per usual though. There seems a reluctance from the GBP side to make Mikey vs Linares without GBP getting options on Garcia.

Linares vs Flanagan is a tough fight close to call.

hmmm...I not feeling this move by Linares but then again Mikey said he was fighting around December? and the WBC said they finally ruled on Mikey vs. Linares but no deadline was mentioned? and its been this way for how long now?! Can boxingscene get on the phone with Suliman and ask whats up?
