Part of me thinks the same thing

But The thing for me is he'd jump up in weight to fight Cotto then drop sh.it load to fight Linares. I don't know if that's the best strategy

After Flanagan if he chooses to avoid Garcia his biggest $ fights are probably in the U.K. With a Luke Campbell rematch, Croola trilogy or Flanagan rematch maybe Verdejo
I just don't see him fighting Easter , Commey

no I would not have fought cotto if I was him.i know it would have been big money but it means NOTHING. if cotto wins its because he is too big and if miky wins jt just means cottos tot shot. kinda like odlh vs pac. I had no interest in MG vs cotto

Comments Thread For: Terry Flanagan: Jorge Linares Deal 'All But Done'

Terry Flanagan has put British boxing fans on high alert after revealing that a deal is close for him to fight in a unification showdown. The undefeated WBO lightweight champion, 28, has been crying out for a big fight since winning the world title back in 2015. Flanagan (33-0, 13 KOs) has made five defences of his crown, most recently against Petr Petrov in Manchester back in April, and has campaigned for an even bigger step up ever since.

Great news, apparently Garcia-Easter is probable for early next year as well, so hopefully the winners face winners for the undisputed title!

Good stuff, hopefully Mikey gets Easter Jr if he can't get the Flanagan fight.
