Another great shout, because Corley was game in that fight. He threw everything at PBF, and to see PBF hurt/stunned a few times shows me Corley went all out.

Yep.. That's when you see what a fighter is made of. Floyd went to another gear after that 4th round vicious Corley right hand. I remember it like yesterday.

It was a damn exciting fight!

I think what's funnier is when Pac fans or Floyd haters say that Floyd never beat a prime Oscar, yet we hear crickets about Pac vs DLH...which was an even more ridiculous weight...

They even refuse to fight on another Mayweather undercard, just to push the fight through.

Unfortunately for Canelo Mayweather is just too good for him or anyone in this era. He just mixed it up against Canelo and for all Canelo fighting experience he hasn't seen anything like that before.
And Floyd was 150lbs and 37yrs old, while Nelio was 22yrs old and 165lbs.

I need to edit my comment, I said "big boy fights" I meant to say "big boy weights" That fight with Canelo outdid everything Floyd did at the big boy weights, while what he did with Gatti, outdid everything he did at the smallboy weights!

For whatever reasons Floyd feels he is great, is allot different from my personal reasons. And you have never seen Floyd speak on the things I speak on. He has a bunch of repeated comments all over!

I always thought 2005 was Floyd at his peak. Some people tend to associate the time he became a PPV star as his peak. But I slightly disagree with that, even Floyd would disagree. He has said his body broke down after the Sharmba Mitchell fight.

In 2005 Floyd fought three times and they were all impressive showings and all fights were stopped. The Gatti fight might have been his single best performance ever in the ring. After 2005 Floyd slowly regressed and it showed in his performances.

Probably Berto. It took Floyd 48 tune-up fights before he felt ready to face him.

Corrales/Gatti/Judah era. Around 2005 from there he became a big diva and his hands seemed so bad he couldnt produce offensive attractive fights.

Ricky Hatton was his peak athlete wise. But he had already made massive chnages to his style due to his bad hands. In that case, Gatti I would say.
