160 is officially the best division in boxing hands down.

You're ranking Lem below Murata why? Jacobs has...maybe one somewhat world class win at the weight...Canelo only fought at the divisional limit once.
I'm not ranking. This was in no order.

Middleweight has been historically a solid great weight class

And the whole point of it being the best divison is cause every fight is a tough fight no one should be dominating elite level fighters.
The fact is Canelo-ggg is a draw on the scorecards. This fight could've gone either way, Canelo arguably won, ggg arguably won. ggg did not win, that too is a fact. The majority don't get to distort reality just because they have more numbers.

Canelo had 0 fights against guys actively fighting at 160 before coming up to 160 for ggg.

Dereyvanchenko has only been pro for 3 years.

Andrade has 1 win at 160 over a guy not even in the top 30.

Charlo has 1 win at 160 over a guy with a busted knee.

BJS struggled with Akavov and Lee etc.

As I said, give it 1-2 more years to see some real progress. You're a fool if you don't think these fighters will get much better over time.

          Oh Ok great info!

I'm not thrilled by 160 division.

            115 , 126, 130, 147, and 154 are way more competitive and interesting.

That was fast. Not long ago many on here were saying middleweight was a weak weight class and that's why GGG could stay champ. I thought is was a strong weight class then and it might be a little deeper now but I doubt any of the new good additions to the weight class will beat GGG anytime soon. GGG, Canelo and Jacobs are still the best 3 middleweights in my opinion. Jermall and Andrade didn't show me much in their 1st middleweight fight. They looked OK but nothing for the 3 top dogs to fear. I think Lemieux will KO Saunders and he is just a GGG KO victim who couldn't win a single round from GGG.

Superflyweight and Cruiserweight are much better.

Andrade and Charlo might be something at MW, but we don't know yet

Saunders has 1-2 wins against non cab drivers and Jacobs is chinny as hell

Hard to say best division when top guy has only one fight at the weight and 2nd best MW is 35 and coming off loss and draw

I wouldn't say it was stacked a year ago, but it looked like a lot of movement has happened over the last 6 months which has made it interesting.
