      His legs are strong enough and he punches with his arms, not his legs. His power comes from hand speed and that comes from his powerful arms and shoulders. Big legs aren't needed for great punching power. Tommy Hearns and Bob Foster had thin legs and were great punches. Their hand speed and turning their body into their punches gave them their power Thin legs can still be strong legs. Strong legs play a roll in punching power as does turning the body into the punch but boxers don't need Tyson's thick legs to punch hard and Wilder is proof of that.

        Bob Fitzsimmons had thin legs as well yet was known as one the hardest punchers of his time.

        You don't need tree trunk legs to have power.
