Mayweather Promotions is promoting a guy with a 12-12-3 record? Nothing against the guy, but I just wonder what they're getting out of it.

I was at this show & Cameron Krael (the 12-12-3 guy) had the biggest fanbase on the show. Granted it wasn't the biggest show (maybe 200, 300 I'd guess), but damn near a quarter of the audience seemed there exclusively for him so the guy gots some local draw. Plus he's a legit Vegas guy + has had 4 of his last 5 fights at this same venue & most of his pro career has happened in Vegas & surrounding areas.

But in general my assumption with a lot of random non-prospect guys Mayweather picks up is they are guys at his gym who looked good in sparring or did well vs someone he respects or even him in older days perhaps.
