How Is Tyson Fury Still Ring Champ????

When he's already broken several of there rules

The Champion does not schedule a fight in any weight class for 18 months.

The Champion does not schedule a fight at his championship weight for 18 months (even if he fights at another weight).

    The Champion retires.

The Champion tests positive for a performance-enhancing substance.

Great question...but i think he never really officially retired, and he has scheduled fights in the last 18 months..and was his positive test ever deemed official?

The case is still pending. It's been that way for over a year. Other fighters have been banned and return within that time, yet they're still stalling his case and through no fault of his own.

The powers that be here in the UK simply don't want him in the game, it's pretty obvious now. He's far too honest, outspoken and unwilling the play the game. I'm sure it's the same in USA too. Pretty much any famous person that goes against the grain and agendas in todays sensitive world will find themselves ousted from their careers or have it sabotaged and that's what's happened to Fury.

Even if he is guilty, there's still no good excuse why they have stalled this much on the case when other fighters have served bans and made comebacks already.

The Ring is wrong of course. They are often wrong. Fury is a world champion of nothing. He is the former world heavyweight champ and that is all he likely ever will be. I doubt he ever has another boxing match.

Welcome to the joke that is usually a lineal championship.

Even if you forget all the postponements (Fury), all the ducking (Stevenson), and all the catchweights (Cotto/Canelo), all lineal champion shows is an old fighter losing to a younger fighter.

I will always believe 1 title per class is only way to save our sport.i wish all writers would get together and refuse to mention wbc, wba, ect just like THE RING did before they fired collins
