D. Hopkins might have been losing that fight before the KO

I was pulling for him but it was a very close fight. I was worried he was going to lose that "0" until the vicious knockout. Hopkins looked like crap but hey sometimes vets like that can give the young guys trouble. He is still a great prospect and this fight will help him dramatically.

yea i think it was possible as well. not impressed with DHOP in terms of agressiveness. he was overly patient and threw jabs with no purpose other then the hit his opponent. if he can do wat he did at the end, set up a big right hand with a double jab, then he will be great

I actually had it a draw before the KO, but it was really close. D looked a little gunshy for a while but that double jab followed by the right was beautiful and completely unexpected.

He did have a sore right hand though so that may explain D-Hop's lack of aggression. He is right handed afterall. Classic knockout though and great set up. It was a sloppy fight but I have a feeling it will get better, Hopkins is still really young and has plenty of time to fine tune his game.
