he looked sloppy vs mcgreggor but it didnt matter because it was mcgreggor.

he isnt coming back for peanuts but if they guaranteed him another 100 million for mcgreggor I think he would do it no matter what he says. IDK how they would build/promote that fight but a lot of MMA fans are dumb and believe mcgreggor when he says he was outboxing mayweather for the first few rounds and just got tired. Those guys would all pay $100 for the rematch.

Hes gonna come back every 2-3 years for $100 million until someone takes his zero. Now that he knows he can pick off top ufc strikers for a payday it only gets easier

Floyd's not coming back

Unless someone lays out another $100m+ payday in the next 1-3 years for a spectacle.

Say what you want, Floyd's performance against McGregor (including the alleged physical breakdown in camp) made it rather obviously clear that Floyd is clearly in old man status, where his boxing brain is basically the only thing keeping him competitive.

No different than Hopkins (where he had enough to get by the lesser guys but fighters like Jermaine Taylor, Chad Dawson, and Sergey Kovalev were simply too much for him, and gritty young bulls were simply there to out work him).

Floyd will likely fight Conor again (Conor is still fresh, but Floyd has basically seen all of Conor's tricks, and his boxing brain is still more than enough to win 7 rounds), but he's not getting anywhere near any of the primed 147lb fighters in the sport now for any kind of money.
