I would have never thought Jack would come back from getting laid out in one punch on Shobox to some guy I can't even remember to being really highly regarded.

It is all what you do with a loss, it doesn't have to kill a guy like Lubin, when in there with a big boy who can punch he needs to be much more careful.

I think it was just the perfect punch, Lubin can come back for sure.

You can watch the tape, right before the KO. Lubin is constantly slipping to his left anticipating Charlo to attack.

Charlo double jabs to make him move his head and catches him flush as Lubin, on queue, slips to his left. Perfect punch.

Completely agree. The problem with Lubin and the reason I don't think he will bounce back is the chin is not there. That was not the hardest shot I have seen a guy get hit with. It's funny, there was an exchange maybe 30 to 45 seconds prior to the knock out blow that Lubin didn't handle well. I immediately thought I wonder what happens if Charlo lands flush. I didn't have to wait long. He might win a world title at 154 but his chin is too weak to be a great fighter.

When Lubin was saying he could continue he was speaking to when he had recovered and risen to his feet. At that point, he felt he could have continued. Many would disagree.........

he wasnt getting beat up before the knockout so I think that works in his favor. If it was a slow beat down before the knockout then he'd might be doubting his skill level. He'll be fine

He can come back from this

Its this BS era of boxing where 1 loss is the end of your career.

Then y'all wonder why guys wanna fight bums forever and not step up their competition.

So he got knocked out. And?

Dudes used to get KTFO all the time and end up with Hall of Fame careers and fight Sugar Ray Robinson 5 times and ****.

That's just the way it was.
