    This shouldn't shock anyone.
First the match up was horrible.
Second compared to the other two fights on the card this was far and away the worst both on paper and on fight night.
Third Lara just has that cruise control style where unless threatened will just play it say till he gets the win. Nothing right with that but you gain no fan fare that way.

Lara is toxic. Fans booed or walked out during his fight. So no shock that fans watching changed the channel. ****** for showtime to allow this to be the headline and does no favors to Lara. put him in a situation where he has to see fans storm out and his fight ends and the arena is already half empty lol

I'm sure the dip in viewership wasn't just due to the fact that the fight wasn't nearly as exciting as the previous two. It also had to do with the fact that on the east coast the fight came on well after midnight. That's too late for a main event to start. Even ppv main events don't start beyond 1130.

would it help or hurt boxing if lara is not on tv anymore?
it'll be ok if he wants to fight, just don't let him stink the show anymore, put him on the non televised undercard.

Showtime has always been ******, theyll put on any card that al haymon wants which is usually garbage, hbo cut ties with him years ago for doing the same thing. People think im dumb for favoring a promoter but i just hate to see all the wasted talent at pbc

Oh STFU. The dip in viewership had eveything to do with the fact that a colonoscopy is more entertaining than watching Lara fight.

As much as I agree with all of you, I'm not sure if I am willing to fall for this trick....i.e. the higher ups to be trying to remove Lara from the picture and using us as the excuse. I still would like to see these younger dudes fight him
