Kinda weird they are even talking about March & miss out on that May Cinco De Mayo crowd. Idk if this means Canelo thinks he would be ready to fight again in May or if GBP has some Mexican friendly show planned for May or something. I don't really see a quick turnaround for Canelo with 2 fights in a 3 month period. I think its either bs (the most likely story, although I got no idea why they'd even talk about March, just don't make sense to me) or they got some bigger plans for May somehow, someway (although for the life of me I couldn't imagine what seems realistic & bigger then GGG vs Canelo II...is Oscar vs JCC Sr III happening or something??!?!?!).

Canelo has said in interviews his priority is May. It's up to GBP to convince Canelo that other options are just as good before May.

The reality is that Oscar will acknowledge the desire or favor to disrupt GGG's defensive streak out of respect for Hopkins. GGG need's another defense to tie BHOP, and more defense after that to beat it. If not happens in May, expect March and then Sept.

I suspect GBP wants to promote undisputed unification strictly with Canelo vs GGG. The fight sells more for the bout in which he needs the last win to beat surpass Bhops reccord. Its all up to the WBC or GGG's desire to stay active that wont affect his momentum.

That's a very good point, Oscar with his marination is grating on me and I know what you're saying about nelo he doesn't seem to fight more then twice a year anymore. You know what would be funny Oscar announcing he is fighting mcgregor in March at 154Ib and turning up like the pac fight zombie edition with sniff round his nostrils sprinting to the ring with a ****** in tow chasing him asking for payment.
