It's called being overrated. Coming from someone who has fought in that ring.

Going 12 rounds in close fights with Canelo and Jacobs is not overrated. He dropped Jacobs and Jacobs didnt even hurt him one time. He showed he has a hell of a chin with some of the punches he took from Canelo. If he wins the rematch he has Charlo and Dervenchenko as mandatories.

The days of the Middleweight divison being a joke with #1's like Wade, Heiland, Blanco, Tuereno are over. We finally got some REAL badasses. Charlo, Dervy, Canelo, Andrade, Jacobs, Murata.

Sht both Charlo and Hurd could EASILY make MW if they werent busy fighting much smaller guys...

Yep........ I think GGG took some mean shots in the 11th from Jacobs though.

Sanchez: Golovkin Not Slipping; Opposition Has Just Been Better!

"Yeah, this is the same guy,"..... Sanchez said Sunday morning, following Golovkin’s unanimous-decision defeat of Jacobs at Madison Square Garden..... "He’s getting a lot better, but the opposition’s getting a lot better."

              http://www.boxingscene.com/sanchez-g...better--114769

I truly believe that GGG fans must hate Sanchez as much as we do sometimes

David Benavidez is blind. Just compare how stronng and fast was GGG against Macklin and Curtis, and how he was getting slower since facing Wade.

That's the thing, it was easy to look like a beast against the likes of Macklin and Stevens. Compare that to fighting elite guys like Canelo and Jacobs, you're not going to look the same. GGG finally stepped up and he doesn't look like the bum demolisher people were labeling the new boxing boogeyman.

Of course, his opposition got better. It also influences to look worse. But it is fact that GGG is 35 already. Age also affects. Wade was not elite boxer. But against Wade GGG looked very slow and vulnerable, he was not fast as against Macklin and Curtis.

No doubt about it. And to think all the clowns claiming GGG was afraid to step up to 168 or even 175 when the guy was already well into his thirties and full grown into his mature form.
