PEDs are all over sports and probably have been for a long time, I've accepted that even though it sucks, but a ripped physique doesn't mean much. James Toney & Danny Batchedler both looked fat when they popped dirty. Toney was pretty flabby too when he turned up dirty for John Ruiz, but passed the drug testing when he fought Rydell Booker and looked more ripped than ever. Frans Botha had that pear shape body when he got busted.
Why Do People Here Think AJ is Juicing?

Squareface: it may not be "pure", 100%, unadulterated, flawless muscle that AJ has packed on... but it near-as-damn might as well be. you know what i'm saying. to call it a myth is to reveal your closed-mindedness; it may be a myth, it may not be... i'm a little su****ious, that's all. if you're not, good for you
MPX523538733) it's not impossible = it is possible. thank you for reiterating my point. just think it's notably unusual that an already-high performing athlete can make further gains like thatComment

not an AJ hater at all but that physique doesnt look natural to me. That wasnt built off creatine and chicken breasts lol. I dont think hes using gear now but i reckon he used it when he was younger for sure.Comment

Ken Norton had a near perfect, muscular physique. No one was accusing his of steroid use. Do a google images search of Primo Carnera...massive and muscled, no steroids. Check out photos of **** Tiger, Hurricane Carter, Vito Antuofermo...all made of chiseled muscle in the pre-steroid era.
While PED use is suspect in boxing today, big muscles aren't the only thing to suggest a fighter is using. I look at Berchelt and I have to wonder when he will be put on the VADA regiment. I'm not seeing that with Joshua despite his size.Comment

Yes it is easy to beat when you know you are going to be tested. But as someone mentioned already AJ is tested 24/7 365. When you are tested like that it is impossible to stay undetected for a long period of time without pure luck.
Even though he knew testing was coming - Lance Armstrong still got caught twice and once they had to back date an excuse about saddle sores, and another time internal politics.
But this stuff does not fly anymore - athletes aren't getting the benefit of the doubt anymore. Ask Tyson Fury. Here is an article of AJ getting tested Thursday morning the week after Klitschko. Plus if you follow his social media, he has put on there a few times when he has been tested, outside camp.

1. What organization is testing AJ?
2. Since when (dates please) is he getting year around testing?
Thanks!Comment

Idk why people make threads that make them seem like naive dummies, but the answer is anyone looking in shape is always being accused of using Peds.
But let's not be ultra naive and act like there aren't ways around getting popped for Peds even if Joshua was legit using.
I got no dog in the who's using Peds race doe so I don't really care all that much who's using or not in regards to Joshua or anyone else.Comment

2. I have already posted an article on this, where Joshua goes into depth about his testing protocol. Quotes:
“One [test] was at 6am and one was at 10pm. They come at 8pm but you have to wait two hours for them to take your blood, as I’d just finished training so the blood needed to settle in the body. They actually came to Nando’s with us,” Joshua said.
“We did it at quarter past 10. Normally they don’t let you eat or anything, but I explained that I needed to eat as I’d just trained, so they came to Nando’s.
“The testers follow you everywhere when they turn up, even when you [gestures urinating]. They jump in the car with me to Nando’s, I can’t drive on my own. It’s hard, to manage your whereabouts. It’s quite annoying.”
On my phone I’ve got a reminder, it’s called Whereabouts, it’s run by UK Anti Doping, regulated by the British Boxing Board of Control, there’s a select number of athletes on it,” he said."
"Every three months you have to let them know in advance where you’re going to be sleeping, where you’re going to be training and what you’re going to be doing. You have a one hour slot each night or each morning for where you’re going to be so they can randomly turn up. So let’s say from 6 ‘til 7, if they turn up at 6.59 but if I’ve gone out, I’ve missed it. You’re allowed to change the schedule but you have to let them know. If I forget or I’m running late it’s on me and I think if you get two strikes or three strikes you get banned.
“It’s another job in itself, keeping on top of that.”
“If there’s anything that is giving you a genuine advantage over your opponent [in your system], 100 per cent you should be banned for life. 100 per cent.”
In the UK, the most recent high-profile failed test came from super-bantamweight Kid Galahad, whose ban was cut short. Former Joshua victim Dillian Whyte also served a lengthy suspension earlier in his career for testing positive. All those who have failed tests maintain they did not ingest the banned substances intentionally – though UKAD, whose rules are signed off by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), do not take that into account.Comment
