Based on what I've seen of Saunders,fighting LeMieux will be a huge mistake. I can sum it up in one word, MISMATCH! I'm still amazed that Saunders has one of the many title belts floating around. His fights are not only boring but his skills seem really limited. I hope if this fight happens which I doubt he makes a huge amount of money from it because I not only expect him to get completely destroyed but I'd be worried about his overall health in this fight. Saunders reminds me of an even less talented smaller version of Adonis Stevenson who runs his mouth about fighting anyone then actually only fights limited cherry picked opponents who either are washed up with a name or just have limited skills to begin with. His last fight against Monroe was down right embarrassing. I predict if this fight does happen he'll try and run and gun while not holding for a round or two until Lemieux finally hits him a few times ending it all.

I'd be surprised if Saunders goes through with this. His belief in his own abilities doesn't seem too strong and he's ducked any real challenge for his paper title like the plague. This is a winnable fight for Saunders because Lemieux is a flat footed, one dimensional brawler but Saunders is probably still scared of getting caught and waking up to the end of his career.
I wouldn't be surprised if he claims a late injury or says he contracted gypsy acne from Hughie Lewis.

Then he will sit and wait until next september. GGG vs Canelo rematch will be in may. GGG vs Charlo will not be earlier than august of 2018, if GGG wins Canelo.

If GGG loses to Canelo, Charlo will fight a bum. And Charlo will sit one year without a fight.

Jermall said he will be fighting possibly in Feb. so if he does there goes the sit one year without a fight theory....It would also line up for a fight down the road for golovkin or Nelo if their team have the heart to put in their fighters with Jermall....
