The comeback for former WBA and WBC super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler is still on but will be delayed until March of 2018, reports BT. Kessler was in full training in August and was sparring with World Boxing Super Series participant Erik Skoglund but then it all became very quiet. It turned out that the former champ had been hit by a case of borrelia and it took some time before this was diagnosed.

I looked it up, Borrelia is the name of bacteria that causes Borreliosis, which you and I and all other non-eggheads know as Lyme Disease. Not life threatening, but apparently it's long-term and unpleasant. March is probably the earliest he can possibly return.
