Chris Eubank Jr., George Groves Face To Face Photos Gallery - George Groves clinically stopped Jamie Cox in four rounds to make the first defence of his WBA super-middleweight title and set up a World Boxing Super Series semi-final with Chris Eubank Jnr. In his first fight of the competition, the 29-year-old was often dragged into the close-range fight Cox favoured, but demonstrated his superior abilities with the powerful right hand to the body that ended Cox's game challenge.

Sounds about right, after the chants I heard for George Groves vs. Jamie Cox I wondered how can Eubank jr. have more backing. I reckon E.U bum jr. is such a c*nt they might boo him too.

Lol this is a good question because they are both seen as unlikeable by the majority of the British public. Although I think groves will have slightly more fan support on the night but eubank has been growing in popularity recently so I may be wrong.

Groves has become more likable and humble recently. People generally found it a sweet victory when he finally succeeded in winning a title.

It’s odd Eubank has such a big following, he’s a grade A twat.

Depends on how it's all marketed. If they do the Quinlan entrance, Eubank will be over.

Start with Senior and "Simply The Best" for the cheap crowd pop.

Is there a racial element in the UK like there is in the USA? Seems to me they just get behind their guys no matter race

Good question- Groves was well liked(I think) before the Froch fights but then he got so ****y during the build up, he lost some popularity. When he won the world title it was kind of like redemption and he gave a good post fight interview.

Eubank Jr- good boxer but not many good wins, abraham and chudinob being his best wins. He has so much arrogance he's not well liked in the UK, same as Khan!

I think real boxing fans would prefer Groves to win
