Spinks was scared to death going into the ring that night, his fate was sealed already. Lubin looked comfortable in the first few minutes right up until the shots that ended it. Makes me question his punch resistance honestly. I've seen a million better punches landed on guys but that one rendered him basically cripple lol

these types of forearm shot incidents happen all the time in boxing. I'm just saying had it been a clean punch from the knuckle of the glove Calzaghe would've not made the count

Roy's power had long gone by then.He never had the power to hurt Calzaghe as the rest of the fight proved, he landed some great shots in the third for instance. The Jones who beat Hill and Johnson would be another story.
