    LSC vs Avalos was pathetic!!!

I turned it off after 4. Made me sick! I really cant say much more except I am writing Santa Cruz off until he steps it up against some1 not named Frampton or Mares.

    Thoughts?

WTF?? 3 really tough fights in the last couple years isn't enough? What is?
It's more than most of the top P4P guys have done in the last two years.

my thoughts are leo has nearly 40 fights and has not fought one legitimate featherweight? feeding on bums, and bantamweights...the first real fight he was in he lost (to a bantamweight) Valdez would smash him to bits, Russell UD's him, Hell even Jo jo diaz prolly beats him.

Is it a coincidence Al haymon guys seem to have common themes? (wilder) etc

Mares is highly underrated and Frampton was fighter of the year. I used to laugh at LSC when he was fighting milkmen and cab drivers but he's really stepped it up in the last two years.

You can criticize any number of things about the guy, but this seems like a swing and a miss to me brother. This is what people say when they just want to see someone lose. They say it about Wilder all the time, even though the guy is trying.
Even I had to admit that he stepped it up. A keep-busy doesn't change that.

A fight that leo was an overwhelming favorite for, he had every advantage, height, weight, reach, age, location. Yes frampton is skilled and i was one of the very few that picked him to win, but they only turned out to be ' tough fights' as you say ....because leo is just not very good.

Leo seems like a nice guy, but i refuse to root for someone that makes a career out of fighting smaller guys from lower divisions and then after having 1 real fight (agaisnt another midget) is now going back to journeyman and what....they now need 1 year and tune ups to rematch a guy that already beat years ago...easily? that disgraceful IMO and they are conning the public.

I was a HUGE Mares fan and still a fan. I was pissed when DLH had him continue at featherweight after beating Ponce de Leon. He shouldve went back down, but d de la hoya does that he stretched Mares thin like he does all his fighters but that topics for another thread. . Mares at 5'5" is super limited man and Frampton hahaha, have you seen what his reach is?

My thing is man, LSC didnt have to fight Valdez or Gary Russel but geez, I guess I just felt bad for Avalos and I just read it went 7 or 8? Wow, thats why people get hurt and LSC should have more pride.

Honestly, I can't put much weight in anything you say because you just hate 24/7. It's really weird. You seem to have a fair understanding of the sport but you're like Daggum in that you just loathe certain fighters and will never, ever give them a fair shake. It's really hard to have convos with people like that.

No disrespect, I'm just putting it in the most honest way I can (call it constructive feedback I guess) because it would be cool to actually talk boxing with you, if you would actually concede a point once in a blue moon.

LSC is a very nice guy and I am happy he financially set his family up thats awesome. But I think the point you and I are getting at come down to PRIDE. I totally agree with you also on the overwhelming advantages hes physically had but at this point its rinse and repeat instead of proving why you are a 3 division champ.

I felt real bad for avalos, Haymon sold some wolf tickets tonight.
