Comments Thread For: Austin Trout: I'm Better Than Hurd; I'm Fighting for Respect!

Austin Trout took notice during the buildup toward his fight against Jarrett Hurd. He's old. He's a gatekeeper at 154 pounds. Hurd is too big, too strong and too young for him. The 32-year-old Trout has used all of those knocks as motivation during his preparation to become a two-time world champion Saturday night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

I expect trout to get that W tonight. He's come up on the short end by inches in his step up fights. However if he loses then it's likely he'll be one of those hard luck fighters who do everything right but still fall short lol... He controls his own destiny with this one he better bring it!!

Too bad this isn't on prime time tv. People would become fans watching the Charlo-Lubin fight. Then again Lara-Gausha could scare them right back away. Oh well its a solid card for the real boxing fans.

I don't know much about Hurd. Is Trout worth throwing a little dough on? He's at +225 last I checked.

Wish I was from London then.

Unfortunately here we have super sport and those ****s almost never broadcast many of the big fights. They certainly don't broadcast pbc fights at all, no matter how good.

It quite honestly pisses me off.

usually sky shows stateside events if they have an english man on the bill or somebody who's quite known and today's bill isn't full of known fighters in the UK unless you really follow boxing. Real glad they showing it though.
