    Sergio Martinez.

What happened to Martinez? Why did he decline so rapidly?

He was never that good, anyway.

He spent three years fighting Eastern European goatfarmers and British back up dancers, which padded his record. The second he stepped up against Chavez he got wrecked - mind, body and soul.

This. He started in boxing late, his prime only lasted a short while, and before you knew it age had caught up with him.

lol you mean the chavez jr that sergio martinez whooped and humiliated for pretty much the entire fight. martinez exposed chavez jr for the pathetic clown that he is and junior never recovered. age and a recurring knee injury caught up to martinez.

He was a ***** who liked riding bicycles (and other things) too much. Eventually it damaged his knees and he had to retire.
