Comments Thread For: Cox Using Tyson Fury as Inspiration To Shock George Groves

UNDERDOG Jamie Cox will use Tyson Fury as his inspiration when he takes on George Groves. Cox challenges the WBA super-middleweight champion tomorrow in the quarter-finals of the World Boxing Super Series at Wembley Arena. The 31-year-old has been given little chance, with most expecting Groves to cruise to victory.

Jamie Cox gives off a strong psychopath vibe. That vacant sort of look he has, the monosyllabic answers, the Swindon accent.

He looks a lot smaller than George though. Although Cox is meant to have been very good in the gym for a number of years. Rumours about him knocking out Badou Jack and all sorts.

I think (and who the fk am I) that Cox's aggression will get him stopped, he seems quite emotional and will press the action every time he gets clipped. His fundamentals still look quite amateurish, they say he is a puncher but he doesn't sit down on his shots ? Groves wins
