  • Comments Thread For: Horn's Trainer: Crawford or Pacquiao Next - After Corcoran

The next name on Jeff Horn's hit list might not be a household name. But Horn's trainer Glenn Rushton is adamant England's Gary Corcoran is the ideal tune-up for a blockbuster WBO welterweight world title defence early next year. Horn could not confirm details of his next fight after receiving The Don Award, as the athlete to have most inspired Australia, on Thursday night for July's upset win over Filipino great Manny Pacquiao.

This ****ing clown Jeff Horn really believes he beat Manny Pacquiao...
What a fool! Someone should tell him he got his ass handed to him and he almost got stopped in the 8th round...
Well he'll get a reality check soon... Especially if he ends up fighting Crawford then he'll really get his ass handed to him.... 😂😂

If he thought he beat the proof is in your next opponent, who is clearly not even the best in england let alone the world. Horn and Arum not fooling anybody with this shambles i hope it bombs at the box office for conning the public.

Pacquiao needs to fight Horn again and beat him convincingly if he wants to end his career on a high note. But I think Pacquiao has too many distractions in his life right now that it might be best to just retire. Unless of course he revives his old focus, and go back to a time when it was just him, Roach and a real passion/hunger to win like there's no tomorrow. Pacquiao can always blame the judges for the loss to Horn, but I think he really needs to have a hard look at himself in the mirror to ask himself if he was partly to blame.

                The Set Up!

I really believe the 1st fight of Horn vs Pac was orchestrated (fixed) by Arum! Pac was not going to take the fight with Crawford, but Arum needed a way for Crawford to become champion at 147. No better way than to fix the fight! Pacman is done, he can't fight Horn again, he is too big! He needs an easy farewell fight! When Crawford beats Horn, then Crawford will have bargin power when it comes to negotiate with Garcia, Spence, Thurman! I feel in that order as well! Crawford first opponent after Horn will be Garcia. That positions him perfectly for a showdown with Spence & Thurman!
Bob Arum wrong way to treat a legend like Manny "Pacman"
Pacquiao, and he brung in a lot of loot for you!

I wonder if Crawford would be willing to fight Horn in Australia after seeing Pac get hosed on the score cards. Will Horn be willing to defend his title in the states against an opponent who stands a 99% chance of beating him?

Jeff "The Hornet" Horn is a man. He's not afraid to call out the best. Unlike Manny

Exactly. Manny needs to face his "Hornet Problems".

When the first fight was signed, people said it was an easy farewell fight. Now, Jeff "The Hornet" Horn was "too big"? Really?

Manny got bullied, and he ducked the rematch against Jeff "The Hornet" Horn. It's that simple.

Of course he would, because I don't see Jeff "The Hornet" Horn getting to round 12 against Crawford. Unlike Manny who failed to knock the guy out, Crawford will have no problem showing how it's done. Don't leave ish to the judges if you don't want to get scored against.
