Rob Brant's chances in the WBSS?

It seems like most people are writing him off as a threat to win the tournament. I'm from Minnesota so may be biased, but I thought he has looked really sharp in recent fights and was pretty impressive when he main evented Shobox.

Then Dan Rafael was asked his pick for the super middle WBSS in his chat today and said "Probably Eubank or maybe the dark horse Rob Brant."

I think he stands a good chance hes a good technical fighter. I spoke with his trainer derrick james and he was telling me there was a reason nobody like eubank or groves wanted to pick him because truth be told he is not an easy fight and im picking him to beat braehmer by late round knockout. We may have a new andre ward underdog situation in the super middle tournament

Ive been on board with Rob Brant, this is also what I said when they announced the 168 tournament. E.U bum jr. Callum Smith, George Groves, took the easy route in advancing to semi-finals but what a disgrace that the 160 ponder steps up to their division and fights the former champion Brahamer! but this is how it is for the Americans, we are built for this.
