Lara literally beat the crap out of the supposed beast Paul the Punisher Williams. Humiliated him for all 12 rounds. He also should have gotten the nod against Canelo. Yet, he is with Haymon so we praise G for beating Dominic Wade and Marco Rubio, but hate on Lara for battling Williams, Canelo, Trout, Ishe Smith, and Martiryosan.

Who in the division has a better resume??? Oh, I get it, the facts don't matter. What a sissy, he couldn't beat anyone. He is delusional for thinking having the best resume means anything. The fans nowadays prefer ko artists who only fight bums. That way they win with an impressive ko every time. Just look at p4p rankings. Crawford's best win is Postol. Loma is fighting a guy moving up two divisions because he won't move up one to fight Mikey. G has fought two decent opponents and many had him losing both. Lara actually tries to fight the big names and gets hated for it. He's Cuban and black though, so maybe that's why.

That or the fight after that against Trout. That was the last time two top five guys in the division fought each other, until Charlo-Williams. And Williams probably was #6 or #7.

Lara has all the skill in the world, but it takes more than talk. I remember caveman Angulo giving him way more trouble than he should have. He may have touched Canelo more, but you're not going to beat a "star" by wearing track shoes. It's way past time for Lara to make a real statement. He's not going to talk his way into a fight.

Very true. He and Andrade were ordered by the WBA to negotiate in September. Andrayd waited. Lara didn't and was found to be looking for another Zaveck-type opponent.

Don't know why Showtime is letting these garbage fights to happen. I really don't. They're waste of time and space and money. Felix Diaz vs Collazo would have been more intriguing to see.

I know Lara definitely isn’t a bum. But his opponents have been absolute garbage. And andrade and lara both deserve the blame for that fight not happening yet.
