Salido was around 10 lbs heavier than Loma fight night. That's nothing when you see other fighter beat guys who outweigh them by more. Loma just wasn't prepared for that type of fight. And don't use it was his second pro fight as an excuse. He was 25 with a lot of fights under him in the amateurs and fights in the WSB that should have been counted as pro fights.

Loma will have the size and if he can solve Rigo's distance-puzzles he might be able to employ some bullying tactics... But there is a lot of speed to deal with from Rigo here. I expect both guys to outmatch the other in different areas. Loma should generally do better on the inside; assuming Rigo is as sharp and fast as I expect to see- he'll likely land the better counters at distance.

If Loma isn't too far behind Rigo on hand and foot speed, then he'll take the win. But if Rigo keeps a significant speed advantage, he is going to have a lot of room to work.

      Can't wait for this fight.
You think Rigo has faster hands than Loma? I doubt it. Loma outgunned Russell Jr. and he probably has the fastest hands in boxing.

I think it's Rigo who will have to close the distance and get inside of Loma's work and counter from there. If he's caught trying to boxing at distance, I feel that plays into Loma's hands.

I would have to STRONGLY disagree as the lighter u are, the more weight plays a factor.

The heavier u are, the more the weight factor wanes.

          I'll give Lomo credit.............

I gave Lomo credit for beating Gary Russell. I didn't give him much credit for beating Walters because Arum sat him on the shelf forever on purpose before making that fight. If he beats Rigo who said weight is none issue I'll give him credit although Arum once again tilted the scales in Lomo's favor by waiting till Lomo moved up two divisions before making the fight.

He is overrated because? Do you understand how silly your comment seems?

Didnt Garcia just move up to light WW for a fight with Broner??? Ohh I get it everyone else does but not Loma....
