Haye obviously just meant what happened in the last fight is done, he lost and Bellew won whatever the circumstances were and it is what it is. He's stating what would have happened without the injury will never be known, so there's no point in going over it and answering the question.

It seems people, such as whoever does articles for this website, do not know how to read beyond words or understand when things are said figuratively. I often wonder how these people would be able to read a well written book with a bit of depth to the literature.

If you wasnt injured you would just try ko bellew so only danger was neing counter pinch with punch you didnt see. Thats only likely scenario.
But with injury you could just try avoid being hit by killer punch and could avoid bellews punch all day. Haye is hard to hit if just thinking defense.
