How can anyone pass up an opportunity.

I thought Castillo disgraced himself this past weekend.
But, I still want to see the boy fight, & especially against Cotto.

It's so funny how everyone is angry at JLC.

I'm not at all, because it's apparent he's unable to make the weight. Why in the hell would he deliberately not make weight for this fight, knowing the repercussions. Do you think he wanted to lose the $125,000 he was fined in the first offense? Hell.....I think he's going to be suspended, and that would be his worst nightmare considering he's such an active fighter.

He failed to make weight in the second fight, because of a supposed rib injury. I don't see why he would make up an excuse like that, when that's something that is feasible. Who knows what the excuse for the third fight was, but let's get realistic, he didin't have to put in much work against Reyes....who was running from him in the last fight. Maybe he became lazy yes, and maybe he acted in an unprofessional manner.

What's done is done. There is no changing the fact he didin't make weight, and I'm more than sure he's remorseful because he didin't make another easy payday.

We'll see what happens, but I can't make excuses for him as a fighter.....but he's still my favorite fighter in boxing. That will never change.

According to what "IWATCH" posted ARUM is the one saying that Cotto/Castillo won't happen and that he'll (meaning Arum) will be speaking to Hattons people. As to what prompted me to say that Cotto's not doing the over looking is because from his interviews etc.. he seems to be very focused on the fight.

Corrales went to the canvas twice in the tenth round.

LOL my bad, i meant to say kept getting up...
but you have to admit, Diego will be remembered as the best lightweight between the two cuz he became the undisputed lightweight champion. Whereas Castillo took the easy road and fought at 138 lbs and did not drained himself in the second fight to gain advantage

id rather watch hatton fight cotto then watch castillo fight cotto. it might be because im a huge hatton fan, but i think hattons style clashes with cottos a bit better. i think it would be a more entertaining fight. idk though, we will see.

Because he knows he can't beat Corrales at 135. It's that simple. He loses to Corrales, he jeopardizes the fight with Cotto, which it turns out he's done anyway. He deserves to be mentioned among the biggest disgraces in boxing history and I mean that will all sincerity. Showtime basically said the same thing. This kind of thing has never happened before. They said it was unprecedented for a fighter to fail to make weight against the same guy twice. He is afraid and you know it.
