Oh right. So his only options for a voluntary were Luis Ortiz?

Curious as to why anyone would want AJ to face a doper ? Ortiz needs to be banned for a substantial period, Povetkin lining up Hammer which will place him to be Parker's mandatory in a years time too, like seriously what is going why are these guys still fighting and not banned ?

Wilder hasn't many options outside the top four or five, Pulev is tied up, AJ and Parker appear to be on different trajectories, Ortiz and Povetkin are dopers, that's the six best guys in the divison named there nobody outside the top six gives him any credit or kudos whatsoever.

I care none for AJ or Wilder but this division is possibly the weakest in the sport, once they face each other who really is there ?

Let's assume for one second Ortiz is not a doper.

If Ortiz needs blood pressure medication I don't know how he is a licenced boxer full stop.

High blood pressure damages blood vessels causing them narrow, rupture, and leak, and increases the risk of bleeding. Come on man, he is getting punched in the head by 220 pound plus men. Common sense says you don't give that man a licence to fight...ever.

If someone seriously hurts Ortiz it is just gross negligence. I don't know how old he is but I can't see how he is medically fit to fight.

And that's the fault of Team Wilder because...? Is he and his team orchestrating things so that these cats fail drug tests?

                Saved by drug fails?! Seriously??

Those drug cheats should be banned from boxing, this isn't running or riding a bike, this is people getting punched in the head!

Wilder is a clean fighter and that in itself deserves dome respect in the heavyweight division these days it seems.

If Joshua wasnt in the mix and didnt exist this entire forum would be saying how competitive it is with a relatively new era , Klitchko would still be here and everyone would be all excited to see how he fares against them ,but now that Wilder has been boxing the longest as a top guy closest to the Klitchko era besides Pulev the fighters are deemed average and the era weak ? .

The answer to this thread is yes . It doesnt have to be Wilders fault bc his resume still reads 38 and who . Wilder will have no LEGIT name bc Joshua is fighting them all.

Certain posters think only Wilder and Joshua make the only good fight (casual fan talk ) when the entire division is stacked in itself with a dozen fights worth while . Though these same posters said Chisora vs Whyte was garbage ?
