Hahahaha, Him and Saunders talk a lot but does nothing. Easter,Linares,Garcia,Verdejo, Fortuna. If he doesn't fight one of them 1st in 2018, then he is what everyone not from the UK always thought, a loser holding the belt hostage, just like Saunders.
He wants a unification but changes his tune when they brought up Garcia. Mikey would travel to the UK and Ko Flanagan withing 5

This dog won't hunt. Flanagan is tied to the dock by apron strings. Come and get it? From him and his judges and his ref in his living room.

Needs to move to Matchroom sharpish. Warren is a deadbeat.

"You could see why they were both talking about retirement, because it looked like two old men to me. I thought the fight was a close fight but no-one really done anything. They looked like they could have boxed 20 rounds and no-one looked like getting a stoppage. It was the most exciting fight I've ever seen where nothing happened."

I seriously doubt Flanagan has ever wanted to fight the best or unify titles as his comments suggest. Perhaps Warren is holding him back from fighting any top flight lightweights because of his lack of faith in Flanagan's ability. He is easily the weak link in the lightweight title picture, plus he's boring in and out of the ring. If Flanagan genuinely wants legitimate opposition and a fight he can build some sort of respectful legacy on as a title holder, I do feel somewhat bad for him but the honest truth of the matter is he has absolutely no star power, no charisma or personality and a boring fighting style to boot. He should really cash out with a title unification attempt before he gets beat by someone low on the totem pole that he's suppose to beat and has no clout whatsoever.
Every time I hear this guy speak, it sounds like a steaming pile of cow dung is coming out of his mouth. There's nothing wrong with having an accent but someone should teach this guy how to speak the English language. He makes Ozzy sound like an expert on enunciation.
