GGG vs Saunders in December, winner fights Canelo in May. That way GGG can have all the belts.

No that he is being forced to fight a barely breathing body it's time for him to put up or shut up and stop holding that belt hostage.

If and that is a big if the fight gets made it will be the fight of BJS's life because he knows if he loses he is done.
To be fair Lemieux admitted to ducking BJS for the last fight , not sure he'll go the duck root again as no money in it and I think he's chasing something bigger money wise. BJS is turning into Wilder suddenly chasing big fights after years of avoiding anything of interest (he wasn't even fighting and looked in terrible shape). He looked back in great shape in his last fight but on that evidence wouldn't trouble a GGG or Canelo though should be tough enough to go a lot of rounds.

a french canadian fighting for a world title would sell out a large venue in canada easily and the ticket prices would be over priced.

he said no BJS because he was trying to secure a larger fight, that fight ended up being vs Cotto. and cotto wanted to make it at 154 and then a catchweight. they couldnt come to an agreement and here we are.

            BJS will outbox him easy
Lemiuexs only chance is once BJS gets tired in the late rounds

Saunders will give him a boxing lesson. Lemieux is a bum with a big punch.

                Good fight on paper.

If BJS beats Lemieuax well it sets a new benchmark for his standing in the MW division.

Its the type of win that Saunders is in dire need of after pretty much stinking the place out in his last 2 fights.

Lemieux seems as ready as he'll ever be. The blast out of Stevens and then 10 solid rounds of work should have his confidence sky high. And every time I see him he's looking better. The dude's had 41 fights and is entering his prime, turning 29 in December. I think he learned from the losses quite a bit and won't get discouraged if he falls behind early to BJS.

I've seen quite a bit of Lemieux and am a fan, but predicted Stevens to beat him. The Lemieux that showed up that night will be a very dangerous animal for BJS to deal with for 36 minutes...

These two are already trash talking each other on Twitter. And I like it.

If this fight does get made, the press conferences will be hilarious.

interesting fight, I hope it happens. I think Lemieux can eventually stop BJS or win a close decision
