Comments Thread For: Arum: If Horn Beats Corcoran - Then Pacquiao or Crawford Next

Australian Jeff "The Hornet" Horn (17-0-1) is expected to take on Londoner Gary "Hellraiser" Corcoran (17-1) in the maiden defence of his WBO world welterweight title. Promoter Bob Arum, who co-promotes Horn, has suggested that the WBO world title fight will take place at the SunCorp Stadium in Brisbane on Friday 15th December, televised live on ESPN.

The 147 pound division is full of killers but this guy ends up fighting Corcoran.

    Shameful.

It sucks that Crawford is going to have a difficult time finding quality opponents at 147. With Arum likely wanting in house fights against guys like Horn & Vargas. A fight against Pacquiao would be fine but Pacquiao isn’t an elite fighter anymore. I want to see Crawford fight Spence, Thurman, Porter, Matthysse, Peterson & Garcia.

He just had a very difficult fight vs Pac. Did you see his face? Let him get his gimme fight. Nothing wrong with that. I don't see all these guys fighting each other either.

You're entitled to your opinion I suppose.

As long as you don't complain about others getting gimme fights.
