Yes, Hagler and Chuvalo. Add the following guys I saw: (not in any particular order)

Gatti-- stopped only by De La Hoya and Mayweather, but on both occassions it was his corner who stopped the bout, not him. Against Wilson Rodriguez in '96, Gatti was dropped in the second, soon started fighting with swollen and bruised eyes but still went toe-to-toe throughout the fourth. He dropped Rodriquez in the fifth and then finished the contest with a hook to the point of Rodriguez's chin in the 6th.

Jesse James Leija, pretty close to the mould of Gatti.

Bobby Chacon-- the four-fight series with Bazooka Limon and the second encounter with Cornelius Boza-Edwards highlights the man's heart and durability.

Carmen Basilio- refer to fights against Tony De Marco and others.

Wilfredo Gomez- watch the fight against Lupe Pintor (in the undercard of Hearns-Benitez, Dec. 3, 1982, New Orleans)

Carlos Monzon--fights against Valdez, particularly the second meeting which was also his last title defense before he retired.

Alfredo Escalera - stubborness and durability showcased in two losing fights against the great Alexis Arguello.

Edit: I forgot Danny "Little Red" Lopez and Mustapha Hamsho.

        Also add Saman Sorjaturong.

Having been knocked down twice and fighting with one eye swollen shut and the other cut, Sorjaturong was told by the ringside doctor at the end of the sixth round that he may recommend a stoppage within the seventh round. The Thai responded by charging his tormentor, WBC and IBF Junior Fly champ Chiquita Gonzalez, and kd'd the Mexican. Gonzalez rose but only to be met with a flurry he could not reply to. The ref, Luo Filippo awarded the fight to the Thai as a 7th round KO.

(July 15, 1995, The Forum, Inglewood, California)

Not all that skilled but with an abundance of desire, Sorjaturong, nonetheless managed to successfully defend the IBF title once (he gave it up after his first defense) and the WBC belt ten times.

I've seen little of Hagler but him and Hopkins get my vote with Wright and Castillo not far from behind. I'd put Oscar in there but he just curled up in the Hopkins fight..

Ken, how did Eubank talk when you saw him? Did he pretend he was from the silver spoon, or did he just talk normally?

            Cheers dude.

Those guys aren't on the same stratosphere as Eubank and Hagler, with due respect.

Chris Eubank, in terms of toughness.......does not belong in the same post as Matthew Saad Muhammad.
                Actually, few fighters do.
