It's funny to me though. Back in May nelo fought Chavez Jr., at a higher weight & a guy bigger than GGG. He didnt bulk up for chavez at 164 but did for g at 160. And when fought Chavez he came forward all night against a visibly bigger man than both him and GGG. But when he fought GGG he didn't want to engage in that same style he had just used against a man much bigger than him. Canelo never fought anyone the way he fought triple g if that doesn't tell you something you're either blind or in denial. And before I hurt anyone's feelings, I'm a Canelo fan but I can call a spade a spade
it's not that Canelo doesn't have more skill and power than GGG. It's the fact that he tried to conserve energy throughout the fight in a way that made him look like he was being bullied by GGG. The fact is Canelo doesn't have the same will and determination as GGG. If he did we would be talking about how Canelo put a beating on GGG because when it comes to skills Canelo is far superior he just doesn't have that mentality.

Funny thing coming from Hunter who I'm sure tells Ward to use the ring when he fights!

Canelo used the ring and ropes beautifully and boxers have been doing that for decades so not sure why people say he was running!

Canelo stood his ground more than several times in the fight and majority he got the better of GGG!

I look at it as the fighter doing multiple things as them being able to because they can which is ring generalship!

A fighter doing what he wants is him controlling the ring, no one talks how GGG is supposed to have the superior footwork and cut the ring off to stop Canelo from doing all the things he did!

No one is talking about how GGG ate more of the harder power punches to the body and head and not criticising him not making adjustments!

I believe Canelo didn't stand his ground cuz he was wary of the power but now that he knows what he's up against in a rematch he will adjust accordingly and I think he gets the stoppage this time!

Canelo used the same style mexicans(and others) claim to hate.

        Now it's OK.

        GG clearly won that fight.

The narrative being pushed is funny.

He lost the fight easily and got a draw. No reason to change. If he loses by a few rounds, He'll be named the winner.

His best work came when he stood center ring, he just didn't wan't to stay there too long. Which is understandable.

Obviously he don't have to stand his ground to win.

All Jacobs had to do was stand up, move around the ring (like he did against Pirog) and win....!
