Crolla vs. Burns Fight Photos Gallery - Anthony Crolla came away victorious as he edged out domestic rival Ricky Burns by unanimous decision in their lightweight bout. Both fighters came into the fight on the back of defeats, with Crolla losing back-to-back WBA title fights with Venezuela's Jorge Linares while Burns surrendered his WBA light-welterweight belt to Namibian Julius Indongo in April, but produced an absorbing battle at Manchester Arena.

Very, very close fight. There were at least 6 rounds that you could have called 10-10 rounds. It was that close. The 117-112 card is disgusting and a disgrace. It could have gone either way. 7-5 Burns, 7-5 Crolla or a draw was the only fair result. Personally felt Burns edged it with the classier work & cleaner punches. Exciting fight. Rematch in Glasgow was mentioned by Crolla and is only fair.

Not sure how anybody had Burns winning that.

It was close though with plenty of close rounds but Crolla won most of them. I saw it about 8-4 or 7-5 Crolla. To score that fight for Burns, you would Have to want to. There's no way Burns won 6 or more rounds.

Very close fight that could have gone either way but I felt crolla just edged it but Burns came on stronger in the champs rounds. Imagine if that was 15?

            Home cooking at its finest.
The 3 blind mice scored it 116-113, 117-112 and 116-114 for Crolla.

I had Corolla winning but not by that wide margin what were these three and confidence looking at during 12 rounds...

Both fighters promoted by Hearn so I don't agree this time and I personally had it 116-113 for a Crolla in, his bodywork and workrate overcame a quite tentative cautious Burns who only in the 12th round did it look like he was fighting a so called world title eliminator and threw some 4 or 5 punch attacks. Burns lost it on work rate, if he let his hands go more he probably could of won but nah he lost with wrong tactics. I think he would be the fighter to make adjustments in a rematch though, I think it's a good retirement fight for both of them later on then maybe a trilogy?
